Furthermore, this year, the event has been particularly special for Costa Cruises thanks to the recognition it has received for the best corporate social responsibility action for the 4GOODFOOD project.

  • “Best Cruise Line for Value.” Costa Cruises always strives to enhance the value of the cruise product so that the perceived benefit for the consumer is as high as possible, with an innovative product and the highest quality standards.
  • “Best Brand Recognition Among Travel Agencies.” Costa Cruises has always been committed to supporting the role of travel agency professionals, its strategic partners. In this regard, facilitating their work is a priority for the company, and for this reason, it continues to provide them with the latest technology to achieve this. Over the past year, the Italian cruise line has continued to implement innovations aimed at travel agents, including the new tools on its Costa Extra platform: Costa Extra Evolution, Smarty, and GeoIntelligence, all focused on jointly increasing demand and facilitating cruise information and sales for industry professionals.
  • Recognition for 4GOODFOOD. Thanks to this initiative to reduce food surplus on board Costa ships by 50%, within the objectives set by the United Nations' 2030 Agenda, the company has already achieved a 35% reduction and, in addition, has donated more than 180,000 meals through the Food Bank.

Luigi Stefanelli, Managing Director of Costa Cruises in Spain and Portugal, stated: “We are proud to be recognized in these important categories for the effort we make every day to offer an exceptional travel experience. Furthermore, it means a great deal to us to have received the first award given in the field of sustainability, a fundamental pillar of our strategy.”
