Regent Seven Seas Cruises®, the world's leading luxury cruise line, has welcomed its newest ship, the Seven Seas Splendor ™. Delivered from the Fincantieri shipyard in Ancona, Italy, it is the company's fifth ship.

With a displacement of 55,254 tons and a length of 224 meters, the Seven Seas Splendor represents a leap forward from its sister ship the Seven Seas Explorer, embodying perfected luxury. Onboard, 551 professional crew members will provide the highest standards of personalized service and amenities to 750 guests in 375 suites, ranging in size from 28.5 square meters to 412 square meters. Luxuriously designed public spaces include five unique restaurants, three elegant bars and lounges, a carefully curated art collection valued at $5 million, and over 4,200 square meters of Italian marble, further enhancing the ship's sophistication.
“Wherever you go with the Seven Seas Splendor, you will be surrounded by elegance, comfort and hospitality,” said Jason Montague, CEO of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Seven Seas Splendor, the ship that perfects luxury, offers its 750 guests the most luxurious accommodations while sailing to the world's most iconic destinations and less familiar hidden gems.
The spectacular Regent Suite sets a new standard for cruise ship suites. Among its many amenities, the bedroom features a $200,000 handcrafted Hästen Vividus mattress, a private in-suite spa with a personal sauna, steam room, and treatment area, unobstructed 270-degree views from a 120-square-meter Jacuzzi terrace, and a glass-enclosed sundeck atop the ship's bridge. Guests of the Regent Suite also enjoy first-class flights, all spa treatments included, a personal butler to manage every detail of their experience, a chauffeur, and a guide in every port.
Seven Seas Splendor features a new space called The Culinary Arts Kitchen, an 18-station kitchen offering hands-on gourmet cooking classes presented by renowned chefs. It also boasts Spa Serene, a new globally inspired spa brand created for Seven Seas Splendor , offering exclusive treatments that incorporate techniques and ingredients from destinations around the world to relax both body and mind.
The ship's exquisite restaurants include Compass Rose, the main restaurant; Pacific Rim, a spectacular pan-Asian restaurant with a lucky dragon greeting guests at the entrance; Prime 7, an intimate and elegant steakhouse; Chartreuse, with classic French cuisine with a modern twist; and Sette Mari at La Veranda, which serves guests authentic Italian specialties and features stunning overwater seating that juts out over the ocean for an even closer connection to the sea.
Led by Captain Serena Melani, the first female captain to command a new ocean-going cruise ship, the Seven Seas Splendor departed Barcelona yesterday, February 6, on its maiden voyage to Miami, Florida. The ship will be christened on February 21, 2020, by its godmother, supermodel and actress Christie Brinkley, in a glamorous and elegant ceremony at PortMiami.
Following its christening, Seven Seas Splendor will sail the tropical paradises of the Caribbean and the Mexican Riviera, including two Panama Canal crossings and a unique Southern Caribbean cruise from Miami to New York City. In the spring, Seven Seas Splendor will cross the Atlantic Ocean once again for its inaugural European season, offering ports of call such as Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Rome, and Athens—culturally and historically rich destinations in one of the world's most popular regions, the Mediterranean.
