Very few places remain for the 1st TUR4all International Congress on Accessible Cruise Destinations, a pioneering event taking place on December 2nd and 3rd at the Hotel Santos Las Arenas in Valencia. PREDIF – the State Representative Platform for People with Physical and Organic Disabilities – has brought together representatives from various organizations in the sector to promote the mainstreaming of cruise tourism for people with disabilities, reduced mobility, and accessibility needs.
The full program, featuring over 20 speakers, will be presented in Madrid on November 12th. Confirmed speakers include Francisco J. Sardón, president of PREDIF; Sylvia Longmire, businesswoman and advocate for the rights of people with disabilities; Marco Pizzio, head of the Social and Accessible Tourism Area at AISM; John Sage, founder and president of Accessible Travel Solutions; Mirjam Versteegh, owner of the travel agency Disabled Accessible Travel; and Virginia López Valiente, general manager of CruisesNews Media Group. All of them share the belief that accessibility is synonymous with high quality.
In addition to PREDIF, AISM – Associazione Italiana Sclerosi Multipla –, Accesible Portugal, ENAT – European Network for Accessible Tourism – and Europe Without Barriers , the State Secretariat for Tourism, Puertos del Estado, Turisme Comunitat Valenciana , the Valencia City Council, the Valencia Tourism Foundation, Valenciport, Cruises News Media Group and B the Travel brand are also collaborating in the organization of the event .
