Vanuatu, one of the natural gems of the South Pacific, will be the new home of Royal Caribbean's newest private island destination – Perfect Day at Lelepa , Vanuatu.
The announcement of this new project was made by the Prime Minister of Vanuatu, Charlot Salwai, and the President and CEO of Royal Caribbean International, Michael Bayley.
Salwai and Bayley have commented that this new destination will be created in partnership with the Vanuatu community with the aim of showcasing the island's great natural and ecological appeal and diverse local cultures, as well as fostering employment and education opportunities.
“We believe our destinations should be designed sustainably,” Bayley said. “This idea goes beyond protecting Lelepa’s ecological environment and includes showing respect for the people and traditions that make this a special place.”.
Salwai, Prime Minister of Vanuatu, commented: “Vanuatu is a true paradise for both our people and the visitors we welcome to our shores each year. Today marks a step forward in our island nation’s close relationship with Royal Caribbean, a step that will support sustainable growth for future generations. The people of Ni-Vanuatu look forward to welcoming Royal Caribbean passengers from around the world to enjoy extraordinary adventures and relaxation during their Perfect Day at Lelepa.

Perfect Day at Lelepa will have a different feel to Royal Caribbean's popular Perfect Day at CocoCay . "The reason for this is that each of our guests has a different concept of what a perfect day is, and they're all right. Our designers, together with nature, have created the ideal South Pacific experience, and we expect the results to be incredible."
