Luxury cruise line Cunard, exclusively represented by Mundomar Cruises in Spain and Portugal, has unveiled its program for the second half of 2021. From June of that year until January 2022, its three Queens will visit up to 123 destinations in 39 countries. With a wide variety of itineraries spanning the globe, this new season includes a large number of longer port stays, including 174 late-day departures, allowing passengers more time to immerse themselves in the local culture of each of these international destinations.
In addition, the cruise line's 2021 season will feature numerous overnight stays in some of the world's most iconic cities. These include Boston (USA), Funchal and Lisbon in Portugal, Quebec City (Canada), Reykjavik (Iceland), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Shanghai (China), Singapore, and St. Petersburg (Russia).
The great journey
The Queen Victoria will embark on a captivating European itinerary in 2021 with 20 round-trip voyages from Southampton , UK. Highlights of its journey include an inaugural visit to Aarhus, Denmark—Cunard's first in its 180-year history—and longer stays in Lisbon, Reykjavik, and St. Petersburg.
In 1840, Cunard became the first cruise line to offer regularly scheduled cruises. Today, it is the only one that maintains this tradition, offering 23 different routes for 2021 aboard its flagship, the Queen Mary 2, an extraordinary ocean liner without equal.
In response to growing demand, the Asian continent will remain on the company's radar for 2021. Therefore, the Queen Elizabeth will be based in the Asia -Pacific region, where it will undertake various itineraries such as circumnavigations around Japan, different voyages through Australia and New Zealand, as well as a spectacular inaugural visit to the city of Seogwipo, in South Korea.
