Silversea, through its CEO for the UK and Ireland, Peter Shanks, and CEO for the Americas, Mark Conroy, announces an exclusive cruise aboard the refurbished Silver Shadow. Beginning December 10, 2019, this Caribbean voyage will allow 388 guests to enjoy the enhanced comfort of the Silver Shadowand indulge in a series of bespoke events curated by Shanks and Conroy.
Inspired by the design of Silversea's flagship, Silver Muse , the extensive refurbishment of Silver Shadow includes the creation of a new atrium on Deck 5, which will house the Arts Café, as well as major improvements to many public spaces, including the refurbishment and expansion of guests' favorite restaurant, La Dame, an extensive renovation of the Connoisseur's Corner, and a refurbishment of the Observation Library.
The ship's spacious suites will undergo a floor-to-ceiling refurbishment, inspired by Silver Muse. The Vista and Veranda suites will benefit from a complete refurbishment of all furnishings, as well as new lighting, carpeting, and headboards. The bathrooms will also feature new sinks and Silestone countertops. The Medallion, Silver, Grand, and Royal suites will be updated with a new color scheme and new materials, and their bathrooms will also undergo extensive renovations.

Sailing aboard the intimate Silver Shadow on this very special voyage will allow guests to travel through some of the Caribbean's smallest and most iconic islands. They will discover Roseau with its distinctive architecture, the majestic Pitons mountains of St. Lucia, or simply enjoy a swim in the turquoise waters of Cruz Bay in San Juan. While sailing on Silver Shadow, they will have the opportunity to socialize with Peter Shanks and Mark Conroy through a series of onboard events and learn more about Silversea.

The 9-night cruise departs on December 10, 2019, from San Juan, and ports of call include Basseterre (Saint Kitts), Roseau (Dominica), San Jorge (Grenada), Castries (Saint Lucia), San Juan (U.S. Virgin Islands), and Fort Lauderdale. Fares start from €4,400 per person and include round-trip flights from Madrid and/or Barcelona (from December 9, 2019) and one night's hotel stay before the cruise.
Guests who book and pay for their cruise before August 30, 2019, will receive a complimentary suite upgrade and a €1,000 onboard credit per suite. In addition, all guests who book this cruise before July 31, 2019, will receive a complimentary shore excursion in every port. Furthermore, Venetian Society members can enjoy a 10% discount.
