Pullmantur announced today that the Zenith will be retired from service in January 2020. The company says it will soon announce how it will replace the ship and other details of its growth plans.
However, this change entails the cancellation of some routes in 2020, such as the Canary Islands and Madeira. Nevertheless, the Northern European itineraries—scheduled for the 2020 season aboard the Zenith—will now be operated by the Monarch, a ship well-known to the Spanish market after sailing in the same region in 2016 and 2017.
