Completing an ambitious fleet expansion plan, AmaWaterways celebrated the debut of its latest vessel, the AmaMora, on the Rhine on June 3rd. The inaugural voyage departed from Amsterdam, traveling through major Rhine cities to Basel. The 156-passenger AmaMora is the third of a trio of new ships launched by the company in 2019. The AmaWaterways fleet now comprises 23 modern vessels following the launch this spring of the AmaDouro on the Douro and the AmaMagna on the Danube.

Like its sister ships, the AmaLea and the AmaKristina, the AmaMora offers 78 cabins, the vast majority with private balconies. Onboard, guests can enjoy the company's renowned cuisine, which includes exquisite regionally inspired dishes paired with carefully selected wines and served in the main restaurant and the intimate Chef's Table, as well as an all-day tapas menu, afternoon tea, a complimentary daily cocktail hour, and a 24-hour coffee station.
Designed to meet the needs of discerning travelers, AmaMora offers a wide range of amenities, including connecting cabins to accommodate the growing demand from families. Guests looking to stay active even on vacation can take advantage of the ship's wellness program, which features expert-led classes, a fully equipped gym, and a marked walking track on the Sun Deck. A fleet of complimentary bicycles is also available, and guided hiking and biking excursions are organized so guests can explore each destination while at sea. For

In addition, the ship has free high-speed Wi-Fi and television.
Guests wishing to immerse themselves in the local culture will enjoy up to 20 complimentary excursions to choose from during a seven-night cruise.
The AmaMora will be blessed by its godmother, travel agent Libbie Rice, along with the AmaWaterways executive team and local dignitaries during a christening ceremony in Lahnstein, Germany, the week of July 15, 2019. Sailing between Amsterdam and Basel and back, AmaMora will offer seven-night Rhine itineraries. It also offers sailings during the Rhine Christmas Markets between November 25 and December 23.
