Royal Caribbean has revealed some details of its Perfect Day Island collection, a series of private islands in different parts of the world where fun and relaxation are guaranteed. The first Perfect Day Island at CocoCay is located in the Bahamas and will open next May.
This private destination will offer Royal Caribbean passengers exclusive, incredible adventures such as the chance to slide down the tallest waterslide in North America, swim in the largest wave pool in the Caribbean, or enjoy incredible views of the Caribbean from a helium balloon at over 130m high.
The first attractions that will be available in May are:
- Thrill Waterpark: This park will be located in the heart of Perfect Day at CocoCay, challenging adrenaline-seeking guests with 13 water slides, as well as the largest wave pool in the Caribbean.
- The Zip Line – A zip line that crosses the island and on which passengers can glide at lightning speed.
- Splashaway Bay Aqua Park: A water park for the little ones to enjoy thanks to fountains, pools, water cannons, and five water slides.
- With Up, Up & Away, thrill-seekers will get a view unlike any other, as they soar 450 feet above Perfect Day at CocoCay in a helium balloon, allowing them to enjoy the island from the highest point in the Bahamas.
- Captain Jack's Galleon, a place where you can immerse yourself in over 30 water cannons inside a shipwreck and enjoy multiple slides. A paradise for the little ones.
- Oasis Lagoon, the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean, is the perfect place to have fun with the whole family, enjoy a delicious cocktail, or relax in one of its private cabanas.
After enjoying all these incredible adventures, Perfect Day at CocoCay also offers numerous dining options to recharge your energy:
- Skipper's Grill: the best burgers, tacos or salads on the island.
- Chill Grill dining: the place to grab a bite away from the hustle and bustle can be found here, a restaurant located on the relaxing Chill Island, a beach with white sand and crystal clear waters.
- Captain Jack's Dining: Crispy chicken wings, fries, or a drink with the best sea views. (À la carte prices)
Up to ten Royal Caribbean ships will include a stop at the Caribbean island of Perfect Day at CocoCay in their Caribbean itineraries this season. Those wishing to discover this new destination can choose a short Caribbean cruise of up to four nights on recently modernized ships like the Navigator of the Seas and the Mariner of the Seas, or venture on a seven-night itinerary with one of the ships in the revolutionary Oasis class.
