Pullmantur Cruises has surprised 250 agents with a training day to immerse themselves through the senses in the British Isles Expedition, one of the company's main new offerings for this summer.
Thus, the attendees of the two sessions – which were held on February 13 and 14 at the Pullmantur Cruises offices transformed into an authentic English pub (The Explorer) for the occasion – toured some of the areas that are part of this 14-night with the help of inspirational videos, music, gastronomy and drinks.
The immersion was enhanced by interesting facts and aspects related to the history of each of these destinations. After the day, the agents had a thorough understanding of the history of the kilt; the origin of whisky; the number of islands that make up Scotland; and what Faroe Islands means.
According to Richard J. Vogel , President & CEO of Pullmantur Cruises , throughout this year “we will place special emphasis on training for travel agents, our main business partners, through the implementation of different, innovative and fun actions designed especially for them.”
