Today, January 30, an exclusive pre-sale opens for 2019 and 2020 World Cruise guests. Sales for the two 2021 World Cruises will open to the general public in March 2019.
World Expedition 2021 – Uncharted World Tour
As a market leader and pioneer, and celebrating its tenth anniversary of expedition travel, Silversea presents the 2021 Expedition World Cruise, dubbed the Uncharted World Tour. Completely inclusive, Silversea's 2021 Expedition World Cruise is unprecedented in the number of immersive experiences offered: the itinerary is designed to connect you with the most rewarding travel experiences on the planet. This experience-focused expedition will appeal to travelers passionate about discovery, those who like to stay active on their trips, and who continue to challenge their own sense of adventure. From Ushuaia to Tromsø, the 167-day voyage will visit 107 of the most breathtaking destinations on the planet, in 30 countries, including six new ports of call for Silversea (Naxos, Folegandros, Nafpaktos, Ksamil, Bejaïa, and Fort William).

The Uncharted World Tour will allow guests to engage with remote destinations through exploration; included excursions; informative lectures from the Silversea Expedition Team; and masterclasses offered by numerous experts, including Felicity Aston MBE, Polar Medal winner and the first and only woman to cross Antarctica solo, and Tim Severin, a world-renowned explorer who has retraced the historic voyages of St. Brendan the Navigator, Sinbad the Sailor, Jason and the Argonauts, Ulysses, the First Crusade, and Genghis Khan. Guests will enjoy a private dinner at London’s Tower Bridge, an exclusive Viking feast in Iceland’s Kjarnaskogur Forest, and a host of other bespoke events around the globe. Departing from Ushuaia on January 30, 2021, Silversea's luxurious icebreaker, Silver Cloud, will travel to some of Antarctica's most iconic destinations before setting course for Valparaíso via the Chilean Fjords. Guests will then sail to Papeete, Tahiti, via Easter Island and the legendary Pitcairn Island, before continuing to Lautoka, Fiji. Stops at other iconic destinations in Oceania, including remote exploration ports in Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands, and Papua New Guinea, precede guests' arrival in Cairns, Australia, before venturing into the Kimberley Coast. They will then visit several destinations in Indonesia before arriving in Singapore. The Silver Cloud sail to Sumatra, Sri Lanka, and Cochin, India, before continuing on to Piraeus (Athens), Lisbon via Seville, and finally Reykjavik. As a grand finale, guests aboard Silversea's Expedition World Cruise 2021 will explore the highlights of Iceland, make a stop in the Svalbard Region and end the voyage in Tromsø, Norway, on July 16, 2021.
2021 World Cruise – The Finest World Tour
For those travelers who wish to get closer to the authentic beauty of the world at a relaxed pace, enjoying the opportunity to establish deep connections and savor experiences over time, Silversea presents the World Cruise 2021. This 54-port, 150-day, 34-country itinerary, known as the “Finest Tour,” will begin with the Silver Whisper from Fort Lauderdale on January 7, 2021, and will conclude in New York on June 6 of the same year.
In addition to the many benefits that will enrich the 2021 World Cruise, guests on this iconic voyage will enjoy two new Silversea initiatives: Dine Around Town, which will offer guests the opportunity to dine at two of four cities' finest restaurants, with bespoke menus and wine pairings; and Your Day Your Way, which will allow travelers to explore the island independently or with friends, in private chauffeured cars or minivans, accompanied by English-speaking guides. Furthermore, as part of an extensive schedule of tailor-made events, guests will enjoy a traditional Venetian masked ball in the city of canals and a glamorous night at the races in Hong Kong.
The Silver Whisper will depart from Fort Lauderdale to begin its 2021 World Cruise, heading to explore extraordinary destinations in Central America. After transiting the iconic Panama Canal, guests will arrive in Callao (Lima, Peru) and then travel to Easter Island and other highlights of the South Pacific region. The cruise will then continue to Auckland, New Zealand, before arriving in Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns, and Darwin, and finally reaching Benoa in Bali. Several stops in the Philippines, Taiwan, and South Korea will precede the ship's arrival in Tokyo. After visiting Kagoshima, guests will travel to some of Asia's most iconic destinations: Shanghai, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore, Yangon, Colombo, and Mumbai. The next destination will be Piraeus (Athens), they will visit several Mediterranean ports including the Spanish cities of Barcelona and Malaga and finally arrive in Lisbon before crossing the Atlantic Ocean in the final leg of the World Cruise 2021 and disembarking in New York.
