Madrid, January 25, 2019 – Norwegian Cruise Line, considered one of the world's best and most innovative cruise companies, with unparalleled quality standards, celebrated its tenth annual “Norwegian Cruise Line Partners First Awards” yesterday, Thursday. These awards recognize the outstanding work of its travel agents in Spain, honoring them in various categories. Tour operators, travel agencies, management groups, and company representatives gathered at the gala, which took place at the Heritage Hotel in Madrid, during FITUR. The event was hosted by Kevin Bubolz, Managing Director Europe of NCL, and Jürgen Stille, Senior Director of Business Development Continental Europe, also of NCL, along with the entire Norwegian Cruise Line team in Spain.
Kevin Bubolz stated: “The Spanish market is always one of our most important. We are experiencing continued growth, largely thanks to the excellent work of our partners. We are delighted to have them on board to introduce Spanish passengers to the wonderful advantages of cruising with us. The unprecedented freedom, flexibility on board, and our diverse cruise program with six ships in European waters in 2019—the company’s largest European deployment to date—position us for another excellent year.”
Agents are a key partner for Norwegian Cruise Line, and this has led to the creation of the "Partners First" philosophy, which reflects the company's strong commitment to them and is based on four pillars: Recognition and Reward, Training, Communication, and Easy Collaboration. The list of winners was announced and presented by Sonia López Corrales, Senior Business Development Manager, and Virginia González Rosado, Business Development Manager, who awarded the prizes to the winning companies.

- GEA Group (Number 1 Management Group in Sales)
