Madrid, December 10, 2018 - The Horizon ship of Pullmantur Cruises - the only shipping company on the market that brings the Spanish lifestyle to the way of traveling on a cruise - set sail yesterday from the Mina Rashid Port of Dubai to begin its inaugural voyage of 'Dubai and Legends of Arabia', its new and exclusive proposal for the winter months.
To commemorate this milestone for Pullmantur Cruises, its President & CEO, Richard J. Vogel, traveled to the Emirate. There, he attended the traditional exchange of plaques, an event that takes place whenever a ship arrives at a port for the first time, held this Saturday aboard the Horizon.
The event was attended by around 50 personalities , including the President & CEO, Captain Charilaos Petridis and his officers, as well as local government authorities and key business partners.
During the event, Richard J. Vogel emphasized that the arrival of the Horizon in Dubai “represents the realization of a dream that began years ago when we first considered this challenge, which is now a reality.” “During this time,” Vogel added, “our team both on land and on board has worked tirelessly to launch this meticulously crafted itinerary.”
