Mario Ferreira, owner of the Mystic Invest tourism group, has announced the launching of the World Explorer next Sunday, October 28, at the West Sea shipyards in Viana do Castelo, Portugal.
This is the first ocean-going cruise ship for the group, which owns brands such as Douro Azul, offering river cruises on the Douro River, Nicko Cruises, offering river cruises in Europe, as well as several hotels and real estate investments in Portugal. The World Explorer will operate under the Nicko Cruises brand, which is already selling cruises from May to August 2019. Afterward, it will begin charter operations for Quark Expeditions, which will use it for Antarctic cruises.
