Madrid, October 23, 2018 – Norwegian Cruise Line presents its new catalog with departures through April 2020. A highlight is the new itineraries of the Norwegian Pearl, which will be positioned this summer as the sixth ship in European waters. With this, the international cruise line offers the largest selection of European itineraries in the company's history and celebrates this important milestone with an attractive offer for its guests: Those who book a cruise of five days or more before October 31 will receive a $50 shore excursion voucher per cabin and port.
Six ships in Europe
At the start of the season, beginning May 11, 2019, Norwegian Pearl can set sail on four departures to/from Amsterdam. For example, there will be two 15-day itineraries on two dates to be confirmed, sailing from Newhaven (Edinburgh) and Invergordon to Norway and back, with stops in Dublin, Le Havre, Tilbury near London, and Zeebrugge. Another route will stop in Warnemünde en route to Baltic attractions. In addition to capital cities such as Helsinki, Stockholm, Tallinn, Riga, and Copenhagen, the itinerary will include a two-day stay in St. Petersburg and stops in smaller destinations like Gdynia (Danzig) and Klaipéda.
In July, the Norwegian Pearl moves to the Mediterranean and will take passengers on several trips from Rome (Civitavecchia) and Venice to other lesser-known destinations such as Kotor in Montenegro, Zadar in Croatia, or Monaco.
The company also has a new addition to its Northern European fleet: the Norwegian Spirit, offering 10- to 15-day cruises from Southampton (London) to Scotland, Ireland, Iceland, Norway, and the Baltic Sea. The European fleet is rounded out by the Norwegian Getaway, which sails to and from Copenhagen with a stop in Warnemünde, among other destinations; the Norwegian Epic, sailing to and from Civitavecchia and Barcelona; the Norwegian Jade, sailing from Civitavecchia and Venice; and the Norwegian Star, sailing from Venice.
Increased capacity in Alaska
Among the new offerings in the catalog are the new routes of the Norwegian Joy, which replaces the smaller Norwegian Pearl. From April 27 to September 28, the ship will sail every Saturday from Seattle to Juneau, Ketchikan, and either Skagway or Hoonah (Icy Strait Point) in Alaska, crossing Glacier Bay or Holkham Bay. With the Norwegian Bliss, currently the newest ship in the NCL fleet, and the Norwegian Jewel, there are numerous Alaskan itinerary and date options available to the cruise line's passengers.

Winter 2019/2020 will be exotic
NCL has also prepared new routes for the 2019/2020 winter season: On the Norwegian Encore, during its inaugural season from November 2019 to April 2020, passengers will embark every Sunday for seven-day cruises in the Eastern Caribbean to and from Miami. The 17th ship in the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet will be delivered to the company by the Meyer Werft shipyard in October 2019. Other exotic destinations are also on the winter travel schedule: The Norwegian Joy will sail along the Mexican Riviera and the Panama Canal; the Norwegian Jewel will sail the South Pacific back to Australia and New Zealand; and the Norwegian Jade will spend the entire winter in Southeast Asia for the first time. In addition, the Norwegian Spirit will sail entirely new waters: After an extensive stay and modernization in dry dock, from February 2020 it will set sail for the Middle East, South Africa and Asia, with stops in ports including Mauritius and the Seychelles, the United Arab Emirates and the Maldives.
