Carnival will invest $200 million in transforming the Carnival Triumph in Cadiz

Carnival Cruise Line has announced a $200 million plan to transform the Carnival Triumph at the Navantia shipyards in Cadiz, from where it will re-emerge in spring 2019 under the new name of Carnival Sunrise.

The renovations will last two months and will begin on March 1. After its refurbishment, the Carnival Sunrise will offer cruises from Norfolk, VA, and in the summer from New York, before switching to Fort Lauderdale in October.
