Barcelona– July 23, 2018– Celebrity Cruises (www.celebritycruises.es) celebrated the cutting of the first steel plate for its newest ship, the Celebrity Apex, in a ceremony held at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France, formerly known as STX France. It is the second ship in the revolutionary Edge , and its construction began ahead of the highly anticipated launch of the Celebrity Edge this November. With this groundbreaking class, and especially with the Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Cruises will redefine modern luxury travel, taking it to new heights.
