CroisiEurope, Europe's largest river cruise company, has received the Excellence Award for best river cruise line in 2017. This award is the result of a large-scale survey conducted among domestic cruise passengers, which lends special weight to the results as they represent the passengers' own assessment. The company has now won this award for the eighth time, making it the river cruise operator with the most wins.
Cartagena hosted the awards gala, which has become an unmissable event within the industry, with the attendance of more than 350 guests, including the main executives of cruise companies, tour operators, consignees, ports and destinations, travel agents, press, collaborators and professionals and entrepreneurs of the sector.
The award was accepted by Iván Díaz, the company's communications manager in Spain, who thanked the users who voted for CroisiEurope as the best river tourism company and all the people who make up the CroisiEurope team without whom this award "would not have been possible".
Tomás Fernández, Commercial Director of the company in Spain, stated, “We are very proud to receive this award for the fourth consecutive year. Little by little, and thanks to the hard work of our team, we are raising the profile of river cruises, which are taking their rightful place.
