At a magnificent gala held at the Ritz Hotel in Madrid, Silversea Cruises received the coveted Conde Nast Traveler 2017 award for Best Cruise Line. At this unmissable event, which brings together the most important figures in the tourism and luxury sector, Tina Kirfel, General Manager for EMEA, accepted the award on behalf of the company from renowned three-Michelin-starred chef Quique Dacosta. In her acceptance speech, she declared: “It is a true honor to be recognized by the industry magazine with which we share so much: a love of detail, quality, excellence, true luxury… and of course, a passion for life. This award comes at a sweet moment for the company, as last April we launched our new flagship, Silver Muse, which has become the benchmark for luxury cruises since its inception, and we transformed the classic Silver Cloud into an expedition ship. It has undoubtedly been an exceptional year.”
