Cunard Line, the world's most famous luxury cruise line, presents a Around the World exhibition in collaboration with Viajes El Corte Inglés for two consecutive weekends, from May 5-7 and from May 12-14.
The exhibition allows visitors to take a journey through time, exploring the company's more than 175-year history, from the Britannia, which revolutionized ocean travel by inaugurating the first transatlantic crossing, to the present day, with the legendary Queen Mary 2, Cunard Line's flagship, which, after its recent renovation, offers its customers a new level of sophistication and elegance.
The TravelExperience section of El Corte Inglés, located at Calle Velázquez nº 12 in Madrid, will host this exhibition, which will be open to the public on weekends. It will feature a collection of photographs, videos, advertising posters designed for the company throughout its history, and previously unseen images of onboard experiences and famous personalities who have been part of Cunard Line's history. The exhibition will also include detailed information about "Cunard Line's World Cruises," a company with 90 years of experience in itineraries that have been traveling the globe.
The exhibition will feature an exceptional 1/200 scale model of the Queen Mary 2, and visitors will be able to take photographs simulating being on board the Cunard Line flagship during its legendary entry into New York.
Attendees will also be able to enjoy the different conferences about the company, which will take place on Sunday, May 7 at 13:00 “The fascinating adventure of around the world with Cunard”, followed by a cocktail; and on Saturday, May 13 at 13:00 “175 years of glamour in Cunard cruises”.
