Silversea welcomed distinguished guests to Port Hercule, Monaco, for an intimate christening ceremony for the Silver Muse, the newest addition to the fleet. Those in attendance included: His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco; His Excellency the Minister of State of the Principality, Serge Telle; His Excellency Archbishop Barsi of Monaco; Mr. Peter Greenberg (CBS-TV Anchor and News Travel Editor) as Master of Ceremonies; Mr. Geoffrey Kent (Founder of Abercrombie & Kent); and Mr. Gerald Lawless (Chairman of the WTCC).
This celebration, organized by Silversea's president, Manfredi Lefebvre d'Ovidio, was accompanied by wonderful performances from the Rome Symphony Orchestra and renowned violinist Charlie Siem, who enriched the ceremony with sublime musical interpretations.
Over the past two weeks, guests from around the world were invited to discover the new flagship on a series of exclusive trips around the Mediterranean.
Silver Muse, the ninth ship in the Silversea fleet, accommodating up to 596 passengers, boasts an unparalleled selection of onboard dining options, including three restaurants new to the Silversea fleet: Atlantide, a seafood and grill restaurant; La Indochina, with its Asian flair; and Spaccanapoli, an Italian restaurant by the pool. With the addition of these new culinary spaces, Silver Muse guests can choose from eight restaurants onboard and enjoy the freedom to dine “whatever, wherever, anytime.”.
Silver Muse is also the setting for the exclusive Zàgara Beauty Spa, which offers a relaxing sanctuary while transporting guests on a five-sense journey tailored to their individual needs and preferences.
Monaco, besides being Silversea's base of operations, is also home to the company's Monegasque history, of which it is very proud. Silversea shares the culture, traditions, and values of the Principality with the world, with its nine ships visiting more than 900 different ports of call each year.
