The Silver Muse, Silversea's new flagship cruise ship, docked yesterday at the Port of Tarragona on its maiden voyage. This first cruise of the season for Tarragona Cruise Port Costa Daurada carried 400 American and European travel agents and journalists who visited Roman Tarragona, the city's historic center, and attended PortAventura for an exclusive preview of Europe's first Ferrari Land theme park. They were able to witness the grand opening and experience the vertical accelerator—Europe's tallest roller coaster at 112 meters—the Formula 1 simulators, the two 55-meter-high bounce towers, and the electric vehicle circuit.

is a 6-star cruise ship offering the largest number of luxury suites in the Silversea fleet. A brand-new luxury vessel, it was built this year and can accommodate 596 passengers plus 411 crew members. Onboard, it features eleven decks, a swimming pool, an exclusive spa area, a casino, a gym, and a theater with seating for 327.

The Port of Tarragona will receive 40 cruise ships this year with a total of 40,000 passengers on board. In the summer, from June 2nd to September 22nd, Costa Cruises will operate for the first time in the Port of Tarragona, with a ship departing every Friday with a capacity for 1,725 passengers.
