The Port of Bilbao will inaugurate its new cruise terminal on March 29th at 11:00 AM at the Getxo 3 cruise dock . The President of the Bilbao Port Authority, Mr. Asier Atutxa, will be in attendance. That same day, the 'Britannia', operated by P&O Cruises, will be the first cruise ship to call at the Port of Bilbao in a season with positive prospects in terms of the number of calls and cruise lines.
The new cruise terminal will be fifteen meters high and 3,200 square meters in area. Luxury cruise lines have chosen Bilbao and Getxo to launch cruises from this location, which will travel along the northern coast of Europe and the Iberian Peninsula. The opening of the new maritime terminal has significantly influenced the launch of three new routes.
