For the Carnival Horizon's inaugural season in April 2018, Carnival Cruise Line has put together a wide range of itineraries with destinations throughout the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
Currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy, the Carnival Horizon will offer a variety of dining options, bars, entertainment, and indoor and outdoor activities.
Round trip from Barcelona to
Carnival Horizon will make its inaugural voyage on April 2, 2018, with a 13-day Mediterranean cruise embarking and disembarking in Barcelona and with stops in Livorno, Rome (Civitavecchia) and Naples (Capri and Pompeii), Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Corfu, Greece; Messina (Sicily), Italy; Valletta, Malta; and Cagliari (Sardinia), Italy.
Carnival Horizon will also make two seven-day voyages on April 15 and 22, 2018, with stops in Cagliari (Sardinia), Naples (Capri and Pompeii), Rome (Civitavecchia), Livorno and Marseille, and a 10-day voyage departing on April 29, 2018, with stops in Livorno, Rome (Civitavecchia), Naples (Capri and Pompeii), Dubrovnik, Corfu and Messina (Sicily).
14-day transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to New York
The Carnival Horizon will travel to the United States on a 14-day transatlantic cruise departing from Barcelona on May 9 and arriving in New York on May 23, 2018. It will visit Malaga, Gibraltar, Lisbon, Vigo, Halifax in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Eight-Day Caribbean Cruises from the Big Apple
After arriving in New York, the Carnival Horizon will sail for eight days in the Caribbean, with New York as its turnaround port and visits to Grand Turk, San Juan, and Amber Cove (Dominican Republic). Departure dates are May 28, June 5, 13, and 25, July 3, 11, 23, and 31, August 8, 20, and 28, and September 5, 2018.
Year-round six- and eight-day trips from Miami to the Caribbean
Carnival Horizon will relocate to Miami and begin a season throughout the Caribbean with six- and eight-day voyages starting September 22, 2018. Prior to the start of this itinerary, Carnival Horizon will offer a special two-day cruise to Nassau from September 20-22, 2018.
Six-day cruises will depart from Miami on Sundays, stopping in Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. Two different eight-day itineraries will be offered, departing on Saturdays. One will visit Grand Turk, La Romana (Dominican Republic), Curaçao, and Aruba; the other will stop in Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Kitts, and St. Maarten.
