CroisiEurope presents a new way to explore France and its canals. On the barges, passengers will receive more personalized service and enjoy a more intimate atmosphere.
These are smaller boats, with a capacity for 20-22 passengers and 6 crew members. They are especially designed for groups, families, or companies.
Currently, CroisiEurope's fleet of barges is only available for sailing on French canals and consists of the MS Daniele, MS Ann Marie, MS Deborah, MS Raymonde, MS Jeanine and MS Madeleine.
Among the highlights is the MS Raymonde along the Seine River and the Saint-Martin Canal. It also includes bike and walking tours of the French capital and visits to the Opéra Garnier, the Madeleine Church, Place Vendôme, the Louvre, and the famous Saint-Germain-des-Prés district. Passengers will also have the opportunity to explore Paris behind the wheel of a 2CV.
The MS Madeleine will travel from Lagarde to Strasbourg, navigating the Marne-Rhine Canal that connects the two rivers. For seven days, this barge will also visit Xouaxange, Lutzelbourg, Saverne, and Waltenheim, and its passengers can enjoy excursions to the Château du Haut-Barr or guided tours of Sarrebourg or Saverne.
The MS Jeanine will travel along the Burgundy Canal, which connects the Rhône and Rhine rivers, for seven days, with Dijon as its turnaround port. It will visit Petit Ouges, Saint-Jean-de-Losne, Dole, Ranchot, and Besançon. Highlights include excursions to the Grand Crus wine route and guided tours in Dole and the Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans in Besançon.
These are just some of the cruises offered by CroisiEurope on its all-inclusive barges, with drinks included in the restaurant and lounge bar. Passengers will also enjoy free Wi-Fi on board and the finest French cuisine. A welcome cocktail and a gala dinner are also included.
