Costa Cruises launches “Fun & Beach,” a new way to travel on a cruise. This concept will be available in spring 2017 on the Costa neoClassica and Costa neoRiviera itineraries in the Mediterranean Sea.
The first itinerary, “Greece in the Heart,” will be available aboard the Costa neoClassica from May 13 to September 23, 2017. With flights from Madrid to Bari, departing from the port of Bari, it allows you to discover Corfu, Crete-Heraklion, Santorini, and Mykonos, before returning to Bari. The second itinerary, “The Rhythm of the Balearic Islands,” aboard the Costa neoRiviera and departing from Tarragona, will be available from June 2 to September 22, 2017. This ship visits destinations such as Savona, Porto Torres, Menorca, Ibiza-Formentera, and Palma de Mallorca.
“Fun & Beach” positions itself as the ideal way to discover some of the Mediterranean's most beautiful destinations while enjoying the best beaches. Under this new concept, guests enjoy a relaxed atmosphere on board, with no need to adhere to schedules or dress codes. The ship offers a culinary experience featuring typical Spanish, Greek, and Italian dishes, as well as an exclusive menu designed by seven-Michelin-starred chef Bruno Barbieri.
During the day, this new category allows travelers to enjoy onboard activities such as Zumba, Aerodance, and Sunset Fitness. At night, Costa offers the chance to feel like a star by participating in the famous "The Voice of the Seas" competition. To complete an unforgettable experience, the "Fun and Beach" themed party, inspired by the sun and the sea, invites you to relax on deck while listening to great music and enjoying delicious cocktails.
Those travelers who choose the Costa neoRiviera can opt to include a stay at PortAventura at the end of their cruise. The company offers one or two nights at the Gold River Hotel with transfers from the port to PortAventura and back to the train station or airport. It also offers park admission and the option to purchase FastTrack passes for the attractions.
