The port of Castellón will receive two cruise ships with nearly a thousand passengers. On September 19, the Prinsendam cruise ship, from Holland America Line, will arrive with 729 American passengers on board. This is the third time this cruise ship has called at PortCastelló. On the 21st, the Silver Cloud, from Silversea Cruises, will dock for the first time at the port, carrying 300 European passengers.
The Castellón Cruise Traffic Promotion Committee, an organization created in 2009, met this week to coordinate all the necessary actions for receiving cruise ships. The Committee is composed of representatives from the Castellón City and Provincial Tourism Boards, the Chamber of Commerce, the Valencian Tourism Agency, the PortCastelló Foundation, and the Castellón Port Authority.
Three shuttle buses will be available to the city centre continuously throughout the day so that cruise passengers can move around Castellón quickly and comfortably.
The Port of Castellón will participate next week in the 11th Seatrade Cruise Med Trade Fair and Congress, to be held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. As usual, the Port of Castellón will be present at the PORTS OF SPAIN institutional stand, under the slogan “Blue Carpet: Explore Spain on a blue carpet.”.
