The Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife will receive a total of 26,500 cruise passengers throughout the month of July, 36,400 if the crew is taken into account.
These figures confirm the objective of extending the cruise season year-round. In June alone, 11,600 tourists visited the port of Tenerife's capital.
Eight ships will make a stop in July. Four large ships will visit the island: the AIDA Cara, arriving every Friday, the Ventura, the Costa Magica, and the Aurora. The AIDA Cara will also visit San Sebastián de La Gomera. The Ventura, the Aurora, and the Azura will arrive in Santa Cruz de La Palma with a total of 8,200 tourists and 3,050 crew members.
