The cruise ship “Berlin”, 140 meters long and handled by Bergé, docked at the Almirante Pier for its first visit to the port of Santander. There are 333 passengers on board, most of them German.
To celebrate their visit to the city, the Port Authority's Commercial Director, Mariano Revestido, and Bergé's representative, Gonzalo Pombo, presented the ship's captain, Alberto Tarozzi, with a commemorative plaque. The cruise ship departed from A Coruña and is now en route to the French port of Bordeaux
Some of the passengers on the “Berlin” plan to take excursions that, on this occasion, have Santillana del Mar as their destination.
The Port Passenger Terminal, located in the city center, and the excellent facilities offered by the ferry and cruise service are an added incentive to the attractive and varied offer that both the city and the autonomous community offer to tourists.
