As we prepare for the debut of Space Coast this spring, the Carnival Magic, currently in dry dock, is undergoing a renovation that will include a variety of innovations in its bars and restaurants. New venues are being added: Guy's Burger Joint, RedFrog Rum Bar, BlueIguana Tequila Bar, Pizzeria del Capitano, and Alchemy Bar.
The Carnival Magic, which currently sails to Galveston, Texas, will add the port of Canaveral in April 2016 to begin a Caribbean itinerary, departing from this same port.
“Carnival Magic is considered a pioneering ship, as it was the first to feature our popular Italian restaurant, Cucina del Capitano, the Caribbean pub Red Frog, and the sports area. And with the addition of new amenities, we are creating this floating hotel, which we assure you will be even better than before,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “Continuing with this refurbishment, Carnival Magic will offer more options for travel agencies to showcase to their clients,” she added.
Finally, it should be added that the vessel will be in dry dock for two weeks, from February 21st to March 6th, 2016.
