CroisiEurope, represented by its Commercial Director in Spain, Tomás Fernández, received the Excellence Award for Best River Tourism Company of 2015 at its ninth annual ceremony. The event, held on February 18th at the El Batel Auditorium in Cartagena, brought together 250 local tourism professionals, executives from all the major cruise lines, members of the press, and local authorities, including the Mayor of Cartagena, José López Martínez. Thirteen categories were recognized this year, including river tourism, with CroisiEurope being the river operator that has received this award the most times.
CroisiEurope has received the Excellence Award in the 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015 editions, as this category has been included since its first edition in 2008.
River tourism is present today in all events of the sector, due to being a booming tourist activity worldwide and the importance it is gaining in Spain.
The Excellence Awards for cruises are the result of a survey conducted among Spanish cruise passengers, which gives it special value as it is the opinion of the travelers themselves.
These awards, the only ones dedicated to national cruise tourism, have been held for 9 years and are the sector's awards and the gala of this industry.
