It will be a new experience for the most discerning guests in gastronomy together with the Culinary Arts Kitchen.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has unveiled its collection of 22 culinary excursions. These are exclusive to the Seven Seas Explorer and will kick off its Mediterranean season. Within this program, the new Gourmet Explorer Tours are designed for guests seeking a unique land-based adventure to complement the onboard culinary experiences offered by the ship's gourmet restaurants and the Culinary Arts Kitchen.
This new collection of Gourmet Explorer Tours offers the opportunity to experience the local culture of different destinations through their cuisine. Each Gourmet Explorer Tour will feature a chef instructor from Culinary Arts Kitchen and a local guide.
“Our Gourmet Explorer Tours have been specially designed to match the existing experiences on the Seven Seas Explorer,” announced Jason Montague, president and chief operating officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
“We have created an incredible collection of culinary excursions, where guests can enjoy unforgettable gourmet experiences. Our excursions were expertly designed to give guests unique opportunities to dine at a Michelin-starred restaurant. They can also visit different markets and wineries and participate in cooking classes taught by top European chefs.”
Each Gourmet Explorer Tour was personally designed by Chef Kathryn Kelly, Executive Director of Culinary Enrichment. Kelly enlisted a team of Michelin-starred chefs and local experts to create these tours. The resulting excursions reflect the culinary heritage of each destination's local culture.
