The new brand identity focuses on the philosophy of freedom and flexibility for guests, a characteristic of the company.
Norwegian Cruise Line has revealed details of the company’s new global brand campaign, “Feel Free.” Based on the cruise line’s core principles of freedom and flexibility, “Feel Free” invites guests to experience Norwegian Cruise Line’s vision of what a vacation should be: no rigid schedules, and the freedom to spend their time as they please.
The energetic campaign conveys the brand's passion for delivering exceptional vacation experiences and showcases the fun, bold, and enthusiastic personality of the Norwegian Cruise Line brand. It also provides an opportunity to connect with guests in new markets through new formats, including various social media platforms. The campaign was created and developed in collaboration with BBDO Atlanta and OMD.
“The 'Feel Free' concept transcends the idea of traditional cruises and speaks to the experience offered only on board Norwegian Cruise Line ships: our promise that guests should have the freedom to experience their vacation their way,” said Meg Lee, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Norwegian Cruise Line.
The launch of “Feel Free” coincides with Norwegian Cruise Line’s new promotional offer, “A World of Freedom.” This offer allows guests who book a cruise of five nights or more between January 4 and April 10, 2016, to choose one of four complimentary extras: a specialty beverage package, a specialty dining package, an internet package, or onboard credit. Guests who choose to stay in luxurious suites or in The Haven will receive all four extras free. The offer is available on all Norwegian Cruise Line ships except the Norwegian Sky and the Pride of America, and in all fare categories, provided the booking is made at least 30 days prior to departure.
The Norwegian Cruise Line fleet features 14 purpose-built ships, including the recently launched Norwegian Escape.
