Norwegian Cruise Line has once again been named “World’s Leading Large Cruise Line” at the World Travel Awards, marking the fourth consecutive year the company has received this accolade. In addition, Norwegian Cruise Line won the “World’s Leading Cruise Website” award for ncl.com.
The awards were presented to Norwegian Cruise Line during the Grand Finale Gala of the 22nd annual World Travel Awards on December 12, 2015, in El Jadida, Morocco. Thousands of travel and tourism professionals from around the world participated in the voting, recognizing travel companies that offer outstanding products and services.
Alongside the “World’s Leading Large Cruise Line” award, Norwegian Cruise Line was previously recognized by the World Travel Awards as “Europe’s Leading Cruise Line” for the eighth consecutive year, as well as “Caribbean’s Leading Cruise Line” for the third consecutive year.

Norwegian Cruise Line’s 14 Freestyle Cruising ships currently offer a wide variety of exciting itineraries, including those to the Caribbean, the Panama Canal, South America, and the Mexican Riviera. The company’s newest ships, Norwegian Escape and Norwegian Getaway, sail year-round in the Caribbean, departing from Miami. In addition, Norwegian Cruise Line has six ships sailing to the Caribbean and the Bahamas from attractive U.S. cities, including New York, Tampa, Port Canaveral (Orlando), New Orleans, and Houston. The Norwegian Sun visits South America on 14-night itineraries between Valparaíso (Santiago) and Buenos Aires, while the Norwegian Jewel offers 7-night cruises along the Mexican Riviera. The Norwegian Epic sails the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands with departures from Barcelona this winter, and the Pride of America offers weekly cruises among the Hawaiian Islands, providing 100 hours of port time.
