The Port Authority of the Bay of Cadiz (APBC) is participating, for the fifth consecutive edition, in the International Cruise Summit 2015, which will bring together the main world leaders of the cruise tourism sector in Madrid today and tomorrow.
In this edition, the port of Cadiz takes on the presentation of the ports of general interest in Andalusia, which together with Andalusian Tourism, will showcase the new brand created to promote Andalusia as a cruise destination and the main actions and challenges to be taken to boost the sector in the region.
The presentation will be given by Kate Bonner, Commercial Director of the Port of Cadiz, who will participate in a working session this afternoon moderated by Alessandro Carollo, Head of Port Operations in the Mediterranean for Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Azamara. Also participating will be Elle Rüdiger, Head of Marketing at Hamburg Cruise Center EV-Atlantic Alliance, and Airam Diaz, Commercial Manager of the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The International Cruise Summit brings together all the knowledge of the sector and the main protagonists of an industry that continues to show signs of strength and growth.
As is known, Cadiz is an example of this good performance, as it leads the ranking of cruise traffic in Andalusia, ahead of Malaga and with an 8 percent increase in port calls and 15 percent in passengers up to October, when 248 ships and 364,460 cruise passengers were counted.
