The main cruise lines operating in Spain will be offering consumers a variety of deals, special promotions, discounts, and contests.
They will be communicating through an online campaign on YouTube and Twitter using the hashtag #Ventedecrucero (Come on a Cruise) and a contest where participants can win various prizes to experience a cruise.
CLIA Spain (Cruise Lines International Association) will launch its "Come on a Cruise" promotional campaign for the first time in Spain from October 5th to 11th. This initiative, which has been carried out historically in other European markets under the generic name "CLIA Cruise Week," aims to showcase the variety of offers, experiences, and itineraries available for this vacation option, as well as promote a sector chosen by nearly half a million Spanish passengers each year for their holidays.
During the coming week, consumers can take advantage of special promotions, discounts, and contests, among other offers detailed on the CLIA Spain website. They can then book their cruises under very advantageous conditions at any travel agency.
As Alfredo Serrano, director of CLIA Spain, points out, “We are very proud to launch in our country an initiative that has been successfully established and yielded excellent results for years in markets such as the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, and France. With this campaign, we want to make cruises accessible to everyone so they can enjoy the variety of options and services this industry offers.”

“Come on a Cruise” campaign will also include an online component consisting of two videos designed to go viral. Developed entirely online, the campaign will highlight cruises as a way to travel where customer satisfaction is guaranteed. Created by the agency Ontwice, this initiative will be promoted on YouTube and Twitter using the hashtag #ComeOnACruise.
Furthermore, as part of this initiative and in line with the online campaign, a contest will be launched from October 5th to 11th in which participants must share a photo on Twitter showing their surprised or bewildered expression when their vacation didn't turn out as expected, including the hashtag #Ventedecrucero (Come on a cruise). The six winners will each receive a unique cruise experience with a guest.
