Silversea today celebrated the start of construction on its new ship, Silver Muse, with the first steel cutting at the Fincantieri shipyard in Sestri Ponente, Genoa, Italy. Silversea Chairman Manfredi Lefebvre d'Ovidio hosted the event alongside Fincantieri CEO Giuseppe Bono
The new ship, to be launched in spring 2017, will maintain Silversea's hallmarks: high-end cruises in an atmosphere of extraordinary luxury. The cutting of the Silver Muse is governed by exhaustive planning and development of new concepts that will enhance the passenger experience on board.
