The Port of La Luz and Las Palmas received a total of eight cruise ships between Saturday, January 10, and Monday, January 12, which will be joined by the Norwegian Navy's sailing ship Christian Radich.

Specifically, the cruise ships that docked included the six that regularly operate during the current winter season, such as the AIDA Blu, Stella, and Cara, as well as TUI's giant, the Mein Schiff 3, and the MSC Armonia.
According to a press release from the City Council, the Thomson Majesty, the Artania, and the Boudicca will join them, making a stop in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, along with the Norwegian sailing ship Christian Radich, which will dock and remain in the city until February 5th. Cruise passengers will find the city with its shops open and with the usual reinforcement of tourist information and assistance services.
In addition, on Sunday, January 11, Mesa y López Avenue hosted, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the 2nd Health and Wellness Fair, which will host 26 stands of companies specializing in nutrition, food and aesthetics, among other activities.
He noted that the AIDA Blu, Stella, and Cara, the new Armonía, and TUI's behemoth, the Mein Schiff 3, are based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria throughout the winter season, and have been a familiar sight at the Santa Catalina Cruise Terminal for several months. Meanwhile, the Thomson Majestic is a regular visitor to the city, and this past weekend made its ninth call of the 2014-2015 season, out of a total of 23 scheduled until April 18. The Artania, for its part, will make its second and final call at the Port of La Luz this Monday, January 12, before continuing its holiday cruise to Casablanca. Finally, Fred Olsen's Boudicca will make its third call at the Port of La Luz, out of four scheduled until February 15.
