Costa Cruises successfully concludes its marketing campaign, which has generated great interest from customers and travel agencies for the best routes of 2015

Spanish consumers have reacted very positively to the shipping company's value proposition and the great advantages of this promotion, as well as the unique itineraries through Northern Europe, the Western and Eastern Mediterranean.

The marketing campaign launched by Costa Cruises to promote its top 2015 sailings has just ended. During its implementation period, the cruise line recorded a significant increase in bookings and growing interest in its main itineraries for 2015.

Costa started this campaign on October 1st and recently extended it to meet the great reception and demand it was receiving from travel agencies and the company's customers, two audiences with whom the shipping company has a great commitment, as well as the positive results at the point of sale.

María Jesús García, Vice President of Sales for Costa Cruises in Spain, highlights that “we are very satisfied with the success of this campaign in which we have registered, in addition to positive results regarding itineraries in the Western and Eastern Mediterranean, a growing demand for cruises in Northern Europe, a destination where we have the most extensive experience and the largest offer within the cruise sector.”.

Itineraries through the Baltic Capitals and the Norwegian Fjords are an increasingly popular destination for Spanish cruise passengers, offering a perfect combination of majestic nature, pleasant weather, and relaxation in a unique setting. In this regard, Costa customers have given very positive feedback on the Costa Luminosa's offering, whose unique itinerary through the main Baltic capitals includes an overnight stay in Stockholm and an overnight stay in St. Petersburg, as well as flights to Stockholm from Madrid and Barcelona included in the price.

Other highly popular itineraries in this destination have been those of longer duration, such as the 14-day Costa Fortuna itinerary departing from Amsterdam, passing through Scotland and around Iceland, as well as the 9-day itinerary with the best coverage of the Norwegian Fjords, also departing from Amsterdam; or those featuring the Costa neoRomantica departing from Hamburg and crossing the northern borders of the Arctic Circle and the North Cape, on routes of 12 and 15 days respectively.

Along with the increased demand for cruises to the Baltic capitals and the Norwegian Fjords, the campaign has also experienced very positive results regarding itineraries in the Western Mediterranean and the Adriatic and Aegean.

Similarly, another value proposition highly appreciated by Spanish cruise passengers has been the convenient transportation offered by the shipping company, which allows them to book their AVE train ticket to the port of Barcelona in a very competitively priced package, as well as the advantage of having all-inclusive free drinks and, as is customary with Costa, the port taxes included in the price.
