Southampton, January 15, 2019 – Regent Seven Seas Cruises announced an order with Fincantieri shipyards to build another stunning cruise ship that will continue to set the standard for elegance at sea. Expected to be delivered in late 2023, the new ship will be a sister ship to the award-winning Seven Seas Explorer, the most luxurious cruise ship ever built, and the Seven Seas Splendor, the ship that perfects luxury.
With a capacity for up to 750 guests, the spacious and intimate new ship will be Regent Seven Seas Cruises' sixth all-suite vessel. Details about itineraries, suites, restaurants, and onboard experiences will be revealed before its debut in 2023. Cruises for its inaugural season will go on sale in 2021.

Montague added, “In the past 12 months, Regent Seven Seas Cruises has completed a $125 million refurbishment of our fleet, begun construction on Seven Seas Splendor, unveiled our Voyage Collection with 167 itineraries and new ports for 2020-2021, introduced new outdoor dining options, launched our most immersive route to Cuba, revealed our Go Local and small-group excursions, and now announced a new ship. The contract price for the ship is approximately €475 million. The company has secured export credit financing with favorable terms to cover 80% of the construction, subject to certain conditions set by the Italian government. Regent Seven Seas Cruises belongs to Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., which also owns Norwegian Cruise Line and Oceania Cruises.
