Tuesday, October 16, 2018 – Oceania Cruises, the world’s leading cruise line for gastronomy and destinations, has unveiled its new collection of Europe and Americas itineraries for 2020.These 83 new voyages will be available for booking on October 17, 2018.
“These incredible itineraries invite travelers to experience more imaginative adventures and explore more deeply the most fascinating destinations in Europe and North America,” says Bob Binder, President and CEO of Oceania Cruises.
The new catalog features over 400 ports across Europe and the Americas. Oceania Cruises' fleet of six ships, characterized by their intimate and elegant ambiance and accommodating either 684 or 1,250 guests, showcases the splendor of the Mediterranean, the diversity of Western Europe's wine country, the history of the Baltic states, the British Isles and Norway, as well as the Canadian coast, and the majesty of Alaska, Iceland, and Greenland. As a destination-focused company, the ships spend more time in port, often arriving at dawn and departing at night, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the culture, history, and culinary highlights of the regions visited. In fact, to give passengers the opportunity to explore at their leisure, more than 50 of the itineraries include overnight stays in port.
Highlights from Europe and the Americas 2020
The catalog features ten trips to Turkey with stops in Istanbul, Ephesus, and Antalya. Another coveted destination, the Holy Land, is offered with three itineraries aboard the ships Sirena, Riviera, and Nautica, including visits to Jerusalem, Haifa, and Ashdod. The wine-producing countries of Western Europe are featured in seven cruises, all of which include an overnight stay in Bordeaux.
The Regatta offers a greater number of longer Alaskan with three 10-day itineraries, three 11-day itineraries, two 12-day itineraries, and two 14-day itineraries, in addition to four 7-day cruises—six of which will thrill and amaze passengers by connecting Vancouver and Seward. Meanwhile, aboard the Insignia, you can enjoy two new itineraries that include Iceland: from New York to Reykjavik and from Reykjavik to Southampton (in addition to its 7-day Bermuda cruises from Manhattan, along with four voyages showcasing autumnal landscapes).
First full season with a completely renewed fleet
The 2020 Europe and Americas Collection will be the first full season of itineraries Oceania Cruises offers aboard a fleet of completely refurbished ships. Regatta, Insignia, Nautica, and Sirena will look better than new after completing their transformation, thanks to a $100 million investment by the company. The Marina and Riviera ships will also offer guests a number of enhancements, along with physical and decorative updates yet to be revealed, to provide the ultimate Oceania Cruises experience. These improvements are part of the brand's innovative OceaniaNEXT initiative.
