Madrid, July 9, 2019 – With an eye on the arrival of the Costa Smeralda, the new flagship of Costa Cruises, the Italian shipping company is launching a web series that answers all of users' questions about the new ship.

In this way, Costa aims to answer all of its fans' questions about the new ship in a dynamic, unique, and visual way. The company will publish one episode per month of its new web series, "You Asked For It," on its Facebook until the ship's arrival in the fall of 2019.

For a few minutes, an Italian couple relays users' questions to cruise line executives at locations significant to the Costa Smeralda. Thus, while the first episode explains how the web series works and introduces the main couple – Steve and Queralt – the second episode focuses on sustainability, one of the most significant features of this new ship. Stefania Lallai, Sustainability and External Relations Director at Costa Cruises, is the star of the June episode, tasked with answering all the customers' questions about the ship's sustainability.

The Costa Smeralda will be the first LNG-powered ship and a clear example of Costa's commitment to a future based on innovative experiences, environmental responsibility, and sustainable growth. It will arrive in Barcelona for the first time at the end of October and will be christened in Savona on November 3. Following the ceremony, the ship will set sail on a six-day inaugural cruise, calling at Barcelona, Marseille, and Civitavecchia (Rome).
The third episode of the web series will be released in July and will focus on one of the key aspects of Costa Cruises' offerings: its cuisine. This month, Steve will answer Costa customers' culinary questions with the help of the company's professionals.
