Norwegian Cruise Line unveiled the new wellness and dining options coming aboard Norwegian Aura™, its largest ship to date and the latest evolution of the Prima Plus class.
Driven by guest feedback and NCL’s brand promise that the best vacations are those where no one has to settle for less than what they truly want, Norwegian Aura™ will incorporate even more of the experiences travelers value to create memorable moments for families, couples, solo travelers, and everyone looking to enjoy their vacation their way. New features include the industry’s largest thermal suite, with 15 wellness experiences designed for relaxation, recovery, and revitalization; Tamara, NCL’s first specialty restaurant dedicated to Indian cuisine; and The Panorama Room, an innovative concept that transforms the onboard dining experience. In addition, several guest-favorite restaurants, bars, and lounges have been redesigned and relocated to offer more space and a smoother transition between experiences.

A NEW ERA OF WELL-BEING AT SEA
The Mandara Spa®,which occupies two decks and features a beautiful design by Rockwell Group, will harness the restorative power of nature to create a sprawling wellness sanctuary inspired by treetops, cavern-like shelters, waterfalls and the natural rhythms of the surroundings.
At the heart of this experience will be the industry's largest thermal suite, offering 15 wellness amenities, including 11 entirely new experiences developed around the principles of contrast therapy. Guests can alternate between warm and cool spaces, aquatic experiences, and relaxation areas to create their own unique relaxation routine, whether to recover after a day exploring a destination, soothe the effects of travel, or simply enjoy a moment of tranquility by the sea.
Among the most outstanding experiences is the Sensory Rain Pool, the first of its kind at sea. This immersive 360-degree experience evolves from calm waters to a tropical rain and then a breathtaking electrical storm, with simulated lightning effects and the surround sound of thunder, creating a unique connection with nature.
As a complement to the contrast therapy experience in the thermal suite, guests can also enjoy new aquatic and thermal experiences, including the “Blue Glow Suite,” a blue light experience designed to promote relaxation and aid recovery after travel; a dedicated foot spa to revitalize and soothe tired feet and muscles; the “Waterfall Experience,” where water cascades gently over the head and shoulders; a “Snow Cave,” with rock-like walls covered in fresh snow, whose cold therapy benefits are known to help reduce inflammation; a “Reflection Pool” with panoramic ocean views; and guided hot and cold water immersion experiences.
Guests will also find various spaces dedicated to relaxation within the spa, including a salt room, meditation room, aromatic steam room, Finnish sauna, charcoal sauna, and a Zen room.
In addition, the spa will feature 24 treatment rooms, a full-service beauty salon, a Skin Lab, and an expanded range of medi-spa services, including intravenous (IV) therapy, NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) injections to support overall energy and vitality, and acupuncture treatments. The facilities will also include a state-of-the-art fitness center with specialized training studios and dedicated wellness programming.
NEW GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCES AND THE EVOLUTION OF GUEST FAVORITES
Norwegian Aura's dining program will include 22 restaurant and bar experiences spanning more than ten different cuisine styles.
Debuting exclusively aboard Norwegian Aura, Tamara will become NCL’s first specialty restaurant dedicated to Indian cuisine. Inspired by the extraordinary popularity of Indian culinary offerings introduced in the Indulge Food Hall with the launch of the Prima-class ships, this new restaurant elevates those guest-favorite flavors to a standalone dining experience, offering authentic regional dishes in a sophisticated setting inspired by the architecture and craftsmanship of North Indian temples and courtyards.
Located on deck 8, Tamara's design incorporates warm earth tones, handcrafted details and an open kitchen featuring impressive tandoor ovens, creating a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates both culinary tradition and contemporary gastronomy.
Also new aboard Norwegian Aura, The Panorama Room will completely reinvent the included dining experience, transforming the traditional main restaurant concept with immersive visual technology. Located on Deck 6, this space will feature expansive LED screens, multi-channel audio, synchronized lighting, and dynamic visuals that evolve throughout the day and night, transporting guests to spectacular landscapes, works of art, and settings while they enjoy each meal. In addition, Hudson's, the signature main restaurant renowned for its breathtaking 270-degree panoramic ocean views, will debut a completely redesigned look.
Beyond incorporating new culinary concepts, Norwegian Aura's restaurant collection has been carefully reorganized to offer greater comfort, improved connectivity between spaces, and increased capacity at some of guest favorites. On Deck 7, guests will find Le Bistro, featuring a new design with uninterrupted ocean views, creating the perfect setting to enjoy its renowned French cuisine. Also on this deck is Sukhothai, with a refreshed design that pays homage to the culture, craftsmanship, and traditional flavors of Thailand. Meanwhile, Palomar, specializing in Mediterranean cuisine, and the Italian restaurant Onda by Scarpetta will be located on Deck 8, where both will benefit from increased seating capacity and a new design. Cagney's Steakhouse will also receive a sophisticated renovation, incorporating dark and elegant tones that complement the classic atmosphere of a modern steakhouse. The popular Japanese specialty restaurants Hasuki, dedicated to the hibachi experience, and Nama, specializing in sushi, will return with a completely renovated decor and a lighter color palette to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Among the additional enhancements is an expanded Surfside Café, which will now extend across both sides of the ship for a more seamless and comfortable guest experience. Also returning is Indulge Food Hall, featuring nine culinary stations inspired by flavors from around the world. As part of the evolution of Indulge's dining offerings, guests can enjoy included Mexican options inspired by Los Lobos, along with a new Middle Eastern cuisine concept and the return of guest favorites such as Q Texas Smokehouse, Planterie, and Nudls. Another returning favorite is The Local Bar & Grill, an included dining option offering pub classics throughout much of the day.
Guests staying at The Haven will enjoy a new design for The Haven Bar & Lounge and The Haven Restaurant. Designed by Studio DADO, a long-time partner of Norwegian Cruise Line, these private spaces, along with the exclusive outdoor terrace, have been conceived to recreate a tranquil oasis inspired by the natural beauty of the world, using earth tones, lush greenery, and refined details to create an elegant and serene atmosphere.

MORE SPACE TO RELAX, MEET AND EXPLORE
Throughout Norwegian Aura, public spaces have been renovated to offer a more spacious, comfortable, and connected environment, reflecting NCL's renowned hospitality and providing more places to gather, relax, and move easily between experiences according to each guest's preferences.
The bars and lounges throughout the ship will feature refreshed interiors and expanded spaces, including a larger Penrose Bar & Atrium with more than double the capacity and a dedicated stage for daily entertainment. Guests can also enjoy the Metropolitan Bar, known for its award-winning sustainable cocktails; the inviting Swirl Wine Bar, a contemporary wine lounge; and the Belvedere Bar and Whiskey Bar, all redesigned to offer more open and welcoming environments for gathering, socializing, and soaking up the vibrant atmosphere on board. Overlooking the pool from Deck 18, the Daybreak Bar will stand out with its colorful and energetic design, making it the perfect place to feel part of the action. These renovations have been designed to make it easier for guests to find their favorite spot on board, meet with family and friends, and enjoy the ship's dynamic atmosphere from morning till night.
Norwegian Aura™ will also feature Ocean Heights™, the ultimate destination for fun, action, and relaxation for the whole family, offering parents and children even more ways to enjoy quality time together without sacrificing those personal moments that make a vacation truly unforgettable. This expansive activity area will combine new NCL-exclusive attractions with reimagined experiences, transforming from day to night with immersive lighting and LED projections. Thrill-seekers can enjoy six waterslides, the 82-foot (25-meter) Aura Ropes Course, a multi-level obstacle course, Moon Climber, and Aura Midway, which will feature carnival-style games and a nine-hole miniature golf course. For those who prefer to relax, NCL’s first-ever suspended cabanas overlooking Vibe Beach Club will be available, along with a dedicated bar to enjoy the surroundings in complete comfort.
Norwegian Aura will begin its European season with a seven-day Mediterranean voyage from Trieste, Italy, to Barcelona, Spain, on May 21, 2027, followed by a 13-day transatlantic voyage to Miami. Throughout 2027 and into 2028, Norwegian Aura will offer seven-day Eastern Caribbean itineraries with stops at sunny island destinations, including Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; and Great Stirrup Cay, the brand’s newly renovated private island in The Bahamas. During the late 2027/2028 season, Norwegian Aura will offer seven-day Western Caribbean itineraries, taking guests to lush tropical destinations such as Roatán (Bay Islands), Honduras; Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; and Harvest Caye, NCL’s exclusive resort-style destination off the coast of Belize.
