PWL Group is strategically strengthening its cruise team by expanding its service portfolio within the Hamburg-based PWL Shore Excursions division.
Jens Kröger, former head of Shore Excursions at TUI Cruises and Operations Manager Shore Excursions & Shore Activities at sea chefs Cruises Worldwide, has been appointed to head this new position as head of the PWL Shore Excursion division.
Jens joins PWL with an impressive 24-year track record in the cruise industry. His versatile career spans key areas across the entire value chain. After working for five years aboard the MS Europa directly with guests in the luxury segment, he spent nine years developing and leading the shore excursions team at TUI Cruises and, most recently, worked as a service provider focused on operations, staff training, and recruitment for the Shore Excursion department of the Mein Schiffduring his time at Sea Chefs Cruises Worldwide.
Taking advantage of this broad 360-degree perspective, Jens and his team will develop unique and customized shore excursion concepts for international cruise lines and their guests visiting German ports.
This new position also marks a very personal milestone for Jens, who lives in Hamburg and maintains close ties to the region. Passionate about his home port, his goal is to contribute fresh ideas to further enhance Northern Germany's cruise destinations on the global map.
