Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced its plan to reinvent some of the accommodations on its Explorer Class ships, with larger suites, a new suite category, and reduced capacity to offer an even more spacious and luxurious onboard experience.
Following the planned maintenance stops in 2027 and 2028, the Seven Seas Explorer®, Seven Seas Splendor® and Seven Seas Grandeur® will sail with a maximum of only 344 suites, down from the current 373 — 29 fewer suites per ship — to gain even more Unrivaled Space at Sea®.
THE LARGEST ENTRY SUITESINULTRA LUXURY
Regent continues its tradition of leadership in ultra-luxury cruising by expanding its Veranda Suites to become the largest entry suites in the industry, alongside the Deluxe Veranda Suites on Prestige-class ships. Each redesigned Veranda Suite will incorporate features such as a walk-in closet, double vanity, and spacious balconies, and will range in size from 38.6 to 43.1 square meters, up from the current 28.5 square meters.
HORIZON PENTHOUSE SUITES: FROM SEVEN SEAS PRESTIGE™ TO EXPLORER CLASS
In addition, the new Horizon Penthouse Suites—debuting aboard Seven Seas Prestige™—will also be added to the Explorer Class suite collection. Ranging in size from 57.2 to 67.1 square meters, they feature expansive balconies that blend outdoor luxury with indoor comfort. Their tastefully appointed bedroom, full bathroom, and spacious living area make them an exclusive retreat, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploration.
THREE NEW DISTINCTIVE SUITES ON EVERY SHIP
To complete this accommodation upgrade, each ship will add three additional Distinctive Suites ranging from 76.3 to 85.3 square meters, featuring a spacious bedroom with an Elite Slumber™ king bed, a large living and dining area, one and a half bathrooms clad in marble and stone, and a large private balcony. Named Explorer Suite, Splendor Suite, and Grandeur Suite respectively on each ship, they also include a repertoire of high-end amenities: fresh orchids, cashmere blankets, in-suite caviar service, a pillow menu, and the services of a personal butler.

SCHEDULE OF TECHNICAL STOPS
The renovation of the accommodations will begin with the Seven Seas Splendor®, which will enter dry dock in November 2027. In 2028 it will be the turn of the Seven Seas Explorer®, in April, and the Seven Seas Grandeur®, in October.
