This iconic establishment, perched on a cliff 180 meters above the Mediterranean, has designed three distinct ways to experience the same once-in-a-lifetime moment—experiences that go beyond simple stargazing to become a complete sensory journey that combines fine dining, music, and spectacular sunset views as guests witness the total solar eclipse.
This phenomenon will create a truly exceptional moment as it blends with the light of the sunset, when the sun is very low on the horizon. Observing it will therefore require a location with a clear view to the west, where the sky and the western horizon merge unobstructed. This makes Hacienda Na Xamena—surrounded by 150 hectares of nature and two kilometers of coastline in Sant Miquel de Balansat—a sublime and exclusive vantage point from which to experience this magical moment.
According to official data from the National Geographic Institute, in Sant Joan de Labritja the eclipse will begin at 7:38:53 p.m., and totality will occur between 8:32:16 p.m. and 8:33:34 p.m. For 78 seconds, the moon will completely obscure the sun’s disk as it sits just three degrees above the horizon, transforming Ibiza’s sunset into a scene that is unlikely to be repeated.

To accompany the eclipse, the experience will be complemented by a culinary menu designed specifically to make time stand still and allow guests to savor the moment. The evening will feature live music, the comfort of a reserved table, and certified viewing glasses to ensure safe observation of the phenomenon.
As the moon slowly moves across the sun and the light over the Mediterranean gradually changes, the cuisine will become the central theme of an experience meant to be savored with all the senses. The highlight will come around 8:32 p.m., when daylight gives way for a few moments to unexpected darkness and the Ibiza horizon becomes the setting for an unforgettable natural spectacle.
The price of this experience at Edén Restaurant is 220 euros per person, not including drinks.
The amphitheater at Hacienda Na Xamena opens up to the sky
The magic of the phenomenon will also unfold at the iconic amphitheater at Hacienda Na Xamena, built into the cliff itself and facing the vast expanse of the Mediterranean Sea. A haven of stone and sea where you can witness the eclipse in its purest form. From 7:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the event will feature live music, a glass of champagne, and a carefully curated selection of gourmet canapés, accompanied by the essential certified eclipse glasses needed to admire this historic solar event.
This unique outdoor space will allow visitors to observe the phenomenon as it unfolds in harmony with the landscape, while music accompanies the gradual shift in light over the sea and the mountains of northern Ibiza.
The price of this experience at the amphitheater is 150 euros per person. In addition, after the eclipse, attendees can extend the evening with an optional dinner at the Edén Restaurant between 9:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. for an additional 90 euros per person; drinks are not included.
Intimacy by the sea at the exclusive Nidos Privados
For those who wish to share this event in an intimate setting with family or friends, Hacienda Na Xamena will also open its exclusive Private Nests, located at the highest point of the hotel and designed as authentic balconies suspended over the Mediterranean.
This experience, available from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., will include exclusive use of the Private Nest, champagne, a trilogy of signature tapas, dinner at the Edén Restaurant, and certified sunglasses for all attendees.
The Private Nest, which can accommodate up to eight people, will cost 2,800 euros. The Grand Private Nest, meanwhile, can accommodate up to 25 people and will cost 7,800 euros. Beverages during dinner are not included.
