Cunard will carry out a major transformation of the Queen Victoria. After a dry-dock stay this fall, the elegant ship will return to service with a renovation of some of its most iconic spaces, improvements to the exclusive Cunard Grills suites, and the addition of the new The Pavilion Wellness Café.
The ship, which can carry 2,000 passengers, will be in dry dock at the Damen Shiprepair facility in Rotterdam from October 17 to November 5, 2026. Once the work is completed, it will return to service to complete the remainder of the 2026 season and begin its 2027 schedule.
The Queen Victoria’s main spaces will be carefully revitalized. The Grand Lobby will debut a new look to enhance the welcoming atmosphere and highlight the timeless elegance that characterizes the ship.
In addition, the iconic Queens Room will be completely redesigned to remain the perfect setting for some of Cunard's most iconic experiences, such as traditional Afternoon Tea, live music, and elegant Gala Nights.
The exclusive Grills experience, one of the hallmarks of Cunard's luxury offering, will also be enhanced. The Queens Grill Suites and Princess Grill Suites will feature new high-end furnishings, more sophisticated decorative details, and a carefully updated design to offer the highest level of comfort and style at sea.
In addition, the ship will debut eight new Britannia staterooms, including three in a new premium category, Britannia Deluxe Oceanview, which will feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering spectacular panoramic ocean views.
The new staterooms will be available for booking starting July 20, for cruises departing on or after November 11, 2026.
In response to the growing interest in wellness among luxury travelers, Queen Victoria will become the third ship in the Cunard fleet to feature The Pavilion Wellness Café, following its successful debut on Queen Anne in 2024 and its addition to Queen Elizabeth in 2025.
This specialty dining venue will offer breakfast, lunch, and all-day service, featuring a menu centered on plant-based cuisine, complemented by meats, fish, and dairy products sourced from sustainable suppliers.

The Queen Victoria will return to service on November 7, 2026, fully renovated and ready to welcome guests for the 2027 season, which will include itineraries through the Mediterranean, the Norwegian fjords, the Canary Islands, and other international destinations.
