Guest suites and public areas will be renovated this November to further enhance the onboard experience
Crystal, a leader in exceptional cruise experiences, announced today that Crystal Symphony will enter dry dock for three weeks in November 2025 for a scheduled renovation of select areas. The project focuses on refining the onboard experience through aesthetic and functional upgrades in two suite categories and several key public spaces.
During this drydock , the Aquamarine and Sapphire Classic suites on Deck 10 will undergo a complete redesign . While retaining their current layout and spacious bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers, these suites will receive new furnishings , in line with the style introduced during the ship's 2023 transformation. To complement these upgrades, new carpeting and wall coverings will completely refresh the look and feel of each suite. These updates will be carried out by De Wave Group , an interior design studio based in Genoa, Italy.
Several public spaces will also be updated during this period, with improvements designed to enhance the onboard atmosphere:

Atrium and Crystal Cove: Under the direction of Gerolamo Scorza, a leading specialist in naval interiors, the ship's central space will be transformed to offer a more modern and fluid, with additional seating. Key changes include the removal of the water feature, relocation of the piano, a two-story mosaic by DeCastelli , and a new chandelier. The reception area will feature a raised section, a new counter with a marble countertop and backlit panel. The surrounding walls and columns will receive new cladding. On Deck 5, the light fixtures and ceiling louvers will be replaced, while the Crystal Cove bar will debut a new bar and bottle racks. New high-end furnishings will elegantly redefine the area.

Stair halls on decks 5 and 6: Also under the direction of Gerolamo Scorza, these transition areas will be renovated with new ceiling structures, improved lighting, architectural details on the walls and brass finishes around the elevators, bringing a more cohesive and elegant feel to the public corridors.

Starlite Club: Trident Maritime Systems will carry out a subtle redesign of the dance floor, with a new central element on the ceiling that will revitalize this iconic space, preserving its vibrant character.

Public restrooms for guests on deck 5: These will be aesthetically renovated by Gerolamo Scorza, with new floors, wall coverings and countertops.

Bistro: The wooden floors will be updated to offer an improved look and feel.

In addition to the guest areas, the Crystal Symphony will also undergo significant technical upgrades to ensure optimal performance and long-term sustainability. Key improvements include:
- Complete overhaul of the hydraulic system of the lateral stabilizers
- Renewal of both evaporators
- Installation of new fuel and oil purifiers, prepared for biodiesel
- Significant modernization of the freshwater pipeline system, with replacement of hundreds of meters of pipes
- Complete renovation of kitchens, cold storage rooms, supply areas and associated compressors
- Comprehensive maintenance of generator auxiliaries
- Steel replacement in specific areas of the ship, including fuel tanks
The Crystal Symphony is scheduled to resume service with the second edition of its Wellness Retreat cruises. These cruises will also feature the debut of the new production show, "Club Nights.
