Transcend Cruises, the river cruise company exclusively for charter groups, presents the names of its first two state-of-the-art river ships, designed specifically for the B2B group market and set to enter service in 2026: Transcend connect, launching in April, and Transcend evolve, which will begin operating later in the second quarter.
Transcend Cruises' 135-meter ships, built by Den Breejen Shipyard and designed by Tillberg Design of Sweden, will offer bespoke spaces and services created exclusively for the group market, aiming to redefine the luxury experience for this segment.
The vessels will feature five distinct spaces capable of accommodating all 120 passengers, including “The Forum,” an exclusive two-story amphitheater ideal for group programs such as expert-led presentations, concerts, demonstrations, or virtual performances. The “Studio” space, designed specifically for the client, is located on deck one, adjacent to a private office and three staff cabins. This 120-square-meter space can be configured for meetings of any size and format and is equipped with comprehensive audiovisual technology.
Up to 120 guests will be accommodated in spacious cabins, which can be converted into double suites, allowing the client to adapt the ship for events of between 30 and 120 people.
Since its inception, Transcend has focused its model specifically on the group market and the charter customer.
“The names we’ve chosen truly reflect Transcend’s B2B philosophy,” said Matthew Shollar, Chief Visionary Officer of Transcend Cruises. “At the heart of our proposition is the ability to create a unique river cruise product, a space specifically designed to facilitate group connection on Europe’s spectacular rivers—hence the name Transcend connect. Furthermore, we want our clients’ guests to have positive and transformative group experiences on board, which is reflected in the name Transcend evolve. Our names reinforce the benefits clients receive by working with Transcend, and we will continue in this vein as we expand our fleet.”
Kimberly Daley, Chief Revenue Officer of Transcend Cruises, added:
“We considered more than 100 potential names, proposed internally and evaluated with our key clients, partners, and intermediaries in the group market.”
“Connect and evolve are action-oriented names that reflect the flexibility and personalization that are central to Transcend’s proposition. We are very excited to officially introduce them to the industry here at Seatrade and look forward to sharing them with the group market as construction of our first ship progresses.”
Transcend is already accepting pre-orders for 2026 and beyond, although availability for the launch year is already limited.
