Norwegian Cruise Line will offer new experiences aboard the Norwegian Bliss and the Norwegian Breakaway

Norwegian Cruise Line 's Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Breakaway will undergo major upgrades to offer more onboard experiences for guests.

Norwegian Cruise Line will offer new experiences aboard the Norwegian Bliss and the Norwegian BreakawayNew features include a cinema and dining experience, Silver Screen Bistro; a new outdoor recreation concept, Horizon Park; expansions of popular restaurants such as Cagney's Steakhouse and Teppanyaki; and improvements to accommodations, including The Haven by Norwegian®.

Herrera, president of Norwegian Cruise Line. “From creating new concepts that offer more outdoor space to enjoy with friends and family, to expanding dining options that delight our guests, we are offering more to do and enjoy for all types of travelers.”

Following the Norwegian Bliss's dry-dock refurbishment, which will take place from January 17 to February 2, 2025, guests will be able to enjoy the new Horizon Park. Designed by NCL's Innovation Team in collaboration with SMC Design and Conductr, the area will feature stunning ocean views and a relaxed atmosphere for outdoor gatherings.

The Norwegian Bliss will also be updating its Premiere Owner's Suites at The Haven by Norwegian®. These premium suites will feature three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a dining area overlooking the Haven Horizon Lounge, and completely renovated interiors and exteriors. In addition, the ship will be adding 24 balcony staterooms and two club balcony staterooms.

Among the improvements to the public areas, highlights include the expansion of Cagney's Steakhouse, which will replace Los Lobos; the expansion of Teppanyaki, which will replace Coco's; and the addition of Palomar, a seafood restaurant that debuted on the Norwegian Prima in 2022, replacing Ocean Blue.

Once renovations are complete, the Norwegian Bliss will sail a 13-day itinerary beginning February 2, 2025, from Southampton, UK, to Miami. It will then cruise the Western Caribbean and the Mexican Riviera, and begin its Alaskan cruise season from Seattle in April 2025.

The Norwegian Breakaway will also undergo a refurbishment from February 19 to March 14, 2025. Among the new features is the Silver Screen Bistro, a unique concept that combines cinema and gastronomy. Replacing the Spiegel Tent, this space will offer comfortable reclining chairs and retractable tables, along with a menu of sharing plates, including options from Food Republic.

Like the Norwegian Bliss, the Breakaway will feature the new Horizon Park, with 360° ocean views and a stage for live music and entertainment. It will also include The Stadium, an outdoor space with family games.

Cagney's Steakhouse will be expanded instead of Moderno Churrascaria , and Ocean Blue will be replaced by Palomar . Additionally, Vibe Beach Club and The Haven Sundeck will have more seating and cabanas for enjoying the views.

The Norwegian Breakaway will offer European itineraries, including visits to Florence/Pisa, Palma de Mallorca, Cannes and Corfu.

In addition to European itineraries, Norwegian Cruise Line offers tropical cruises in the Caribbean and the Bahamas from ports such as Miami, Orlando, New York, and San Juan. Destinations include St. John's, Bridgetown, Puerto Plata, and NCL's private islands: Harvest Caye in Belize and Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas, which will feature a new pier by the end of 2025.

This package will be available for travel beginning January 1, 2025.
